My current work incorporates constructed steel tubing into tower forms. The Drill Tower series is comment/protest against "Fracking" for natural gas. Earlier work incorporates organic curving "lines" with kinetic elements. I explore depth (perspective), color and balance in my work. My sculptures involve the relationship of the natural and man-made environments and the balance or imbalance between them.

My constructed sculptures explore the relationship of natural and man-made environments and the balance or imbalance between them. I am increasingly interested in political/environmental issues affecting all of us. My most recent works explore my concerns about man made impact on our environment.
My sculptures often incorporate kinetic elements that hang from curving organic "lines." Other pieces are more architectonic. In all my work I am concerned with depth (perspective), color and balance.
My work has been influenced by a variety of sources from mandalas to Russian contructivism, and "drawing in space," The artists who have inspired this work are David Smith, Mark Di Suvero, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, and Alexander Calder among others.
