Artist Statement:
My work explores pseudo-sequential narratives via abstract forms, each image building upon a language of pattern to become symbolic. With an always growing lexicon of images I form these questions: What are the ways in which pattern can dissolve and become narrative? How do we remember and imagine the intangible? How can I identify and record abstract journeys? How can I memorialize in a nonverbal language? With grids and repetitious marks, originating from the place of the personal, I answer.
