Artist Statement:
I am interested in the connections between art and science. I am fascinated by land structures, plant growth, the complex anatomy of insects, animals, and humans, and the structure of muscles, bones, eyes, and nervous systems. I enjoy learning about photosynthesis in plants, how human and animal bodies function, and the microorganisms that live in our bodies, water, and the earth.
The beauty and complexity of the natural world continues to inspire my work in painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
