Artist Bio:
Tracy Duhamel McFarlane is a Brooklyn-based artist who works across the mediums of
photography, printmaking, drawing and painting. Tracy describes her works as " emotional
landscapes to stimulate awareness, enchantment and a reverence for life." Her work draws
on natural elements as symbols through which she explores interpersonal and environmental
relationships. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art/English from Connecticut
College in New London, CT, with further studies at SVA and NY Academy of Art.

Tracy started her career as a printmaker at Soho Graphic Arts Workshop in 1983, establishing
herself in Manhattan to pursue printmaking mediums from etchings, collagraphs, engravings
and lithographs. She was elected to the Silvermine Guild of Artists of New Canaan, Ct in 1985
following awards given to her work by state art exhibitions. She continued to exhibit in group
NY and CT shows.

Tracy's skills were further developed and refined during a successful career as a creative director in the NY advertising world. She is now devoting herself exclusively to her artistic interests and has expanded her work to focus on figurative painting in both oils and gouaches.
