Artist Bio:
Alice Garik has work in the collections of The Brooklyn Museum and The New York Public Library among other public and private collections. Her art has been selected for use on the sets of the movies "Eat, Pray, Love" and "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and displayed as part of the set for "Gossip Girls". Garik has also produced commissioned art works for publishers and department stores, including "Orion" magazine, "Dance Ink" and Bergdorf Goodman. Her work was included in the recent exhibition "Tattooed New-York" at The New-York Historical Society in Manhattan.

Artist Statement:
In my work I produce poetic narratives that embrace our identity with the earth in this time of climate change and rising ocean levels.
